Following is a description of where they are located and what kind of retail outlets they contain. There are small shopping centres located at Mossman, Kuranda, Innisfail, Mission Beach, Cooktown and Palm Cove. On the Tablelands, there are small shopping strips in Mareeba, Atherton, and Malanda. The shopping centres in Yungaburra and Herberton are quaint and aimed at tourists. If you're planning a trek further north than Cooktown, be aware that shopping facilities are definitely on the limited side.
