The World Heritage Wet Tropics area of Far North Queensland is a fascinating piece of this planet and there are many things to do and experience in our precious, pristine rainforest. There is a host of guided tours to choose from including 4WD safaris, interpretive walks with a ranger or naturalist (even an Aboriginal one), night wildlife spotting tours, 'croc spotting' trips and horse-riding treks through the jungle. There is an abundance of bushwalking trails to explore and waterfalls to splash under. Accommodation covers the spectrum from B&Bs and resorts to camping grounds and hostels.
